  • On Saturday, Dec. 7. the Macon Women of Today will sponsor their annual craft show. For the second year, the event will be held in the Macon R-1 High School Gymnasium, high school hallway and career center commons area. The show opens at 9 a.m. and will continue until 3 p.m.
    The show will feature over 70 booths. Admission is free for shoppers.
    The Women of Today will operate a concession stand featuring Frito-chili pie, stuffed baked potatoes, hot dogs and homemade cookies and pies.
    The craft show is a Macon tradition that has been a part of the community for over 35 years. The project was originally started by the Macon Jaycee Wives in the mid 1970's and continued as the group became the Women of Today.
    The WOT use the proceeds from the craft show and concession stand to fund community projects.
