  • The following Macon Moments in History were taken from the April 2, 1956 edition of the Macon Chronicle-Herald.
    Pictured in front of the Christian Church before entering for Sunday School and Worship Services were Mr. & Mrs. George Long and children Carol a nd Bobby.
    The St. James Episcopal Church held an Easter Egg Hunt for the boys & girls of the Sunday School on the church grounds.
    Pat Braudis was named DeMolay Sweetheart at the Spring Dance given by the Macon Chapter DeMolay at the Macon Elks Lodge. Presentation ceremonies were conducted by Dick Terrell.
    Bobby Needham, age 8, found the first prize golden egg at the Lion’s Easter Egg Hunt. Ronnie Wiggans, age 4, was one of the winners of a live bunny.
