Macon County gets block grant for senior center

JEFFERSON CITY –  The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) has announced the approval of 36 projects under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program totaling $10.5 million.
Macon County has been approved for a $299,500 CDBG. The grant will be utilized for a community facility.
The city of Kirksville has been approved for a $300,000 CDBG. The grant will be utilized for a drainage system improvement project.
