The Fork & Cork Festival is slated for Saturday, Aug. 28, in downtown Macon.
Registration for Run at Long Branch Lake is to begin at 7 a.m. The run and walk starts at the lake at 8 a.m.
An arts festival, farmer’s market, bakery and shop the block begins at 9 a.m. Continuous music is to begin at 10 .m.
Wine and beer gardens are to open downtown on Vine and Rollins Streets. at 11 a.m. Food vendors are to also open at that time. A Frostop Soda Shoppe will be opened in the Royal Theatre.
A baby contest and 50’s & 60’s Cuties Contest for kids will be held at the Royal Theatre. For more information about the contests you may contact 660-385-2811.
Drawings will be held at 5:30 p.m.
The festival is to close at 8 p.m.
