Bevier drops Consolation games at Keytesville

Keytesville, Mo. -

The Bevier Wildcats basketball teams played for Consolation at the Keytesville Tournament Friday night.
The Lady Cats played the first game of the night, with their opponent bring the host Keytesville Lady Tigers.
Despite being the 7th seed, the Lady Tigers showed they are hard to beat at home as they topped the Lady Cats by the score of 55-40.
Valle Wilson led the Lady Cats with a whopping 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Dominica Prokup followed with 17 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.
Courtney Mattingley scored 3 points, 5 rebounds and a steal. Alex Fesler grabbed 8 rebounds.
The Bevier Lady Cats fall to 3-13 overall.
The Bevier Wildcat men followed the ladies game with their Consolation match-up with the Brunswick Wildcats.
Brunswick also proved they can be tough to handle, as they too defeated Bevier, by the score of 55-48.
Freshman McKenzie Pipes led Bevier with a massive 24 point showing. Dalton Livingston followed with 12 points.
Andy McGhee scored 7 points, Wade Teter tallied 4 points, and Dru Kerns added 1 point.
The Bevier Wildcats drop to 9-7 overall.
Bevier will return to Keytesville tonight for a pair against the Tigers.
