The Atlanta Lady Hornets faced off against the Canton Lady Tigers in the first round of the La Plata basketball tournament
It was not a pretty night for the Lady Hornets, as the Lady Tigers walloped on Atlanta 86-13.
Shelby Tipton led the Lady Hornets with 6 points and 5 rebounds. Amelia Smothers followed with 3 points and 6 rebounds.
Amanda Spearman tallied 2 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and Miranda Hruska added 2 points.
The Lady Hornets fall to 2-13 overall and will play the host La Plata Lady Dogs in the Consolation semifinals, Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
