The Lady Hornets would not find things any easier Tuesday night, when they traveled to La Plata for their TCC showdown with the Lady Dogs.
La Plata would again prove too much as they took down Atlanta 28-4.
Miranda Hruska was 2-2 with a run scored, Lana Allen, Katy Baker and Amelia Smothers were 1-2.
Atlanta drops to 0-4 overall and 0-1 in the Tri-County Conference.
The Hornet men looked for some more magic after their upset of La Plata in last season’s District tournament, but would come up short by a 13-11 score.
Atlanta will be back in action tomorrow night when they travel down to Madison for a showdown with the Panthers.
