The Macon County R-IV basketball teams traveled to Novinger Tuesday night for a TCC showdown with the Wildcats.
The Lady Raiders played a really tough game, but the Lady Wildcats proved too much as they topped MCR-IV by the score of 44-40.
Abby Lusher led the Lady Raiders with 13 points. Cassandra Peterson and Sara Duncan each scored 7 points. Peterson also grabbed 7 rebounds.
Hanna Souther scored 5 points and 5 rebounds. Jackie Rowe tallied 4 points and 6 rebounds. Shelbie Nolte added 4 points.
The Lady Raiders fall to 10-8 overall and 3-3 in the Tri-County Conference.
The Raider men also had a tough night as they were felled by Novinger by the count of 66-32.
