After knocking off Northwestern in the semifinals, the Macon County R-IV Lady Raiders earned the right to play for Consolation at the Meadville Tournament Friday evening.
Their opponent for the 5th place game would be the Linn County Lady Mustangs.
The Lady Raiders stayed on their hot streak as they toppled the tough Lady Mustangs by the count of 36-31.
Cassandra Peterson led the way for MCR-IV with 11 points and 11 rebounds, a double-double.
Hanna Souther followed with 7 points and 9 rebounds. Abby Lusher scored 8 points.
Sara Duncan racked up 6 points. Jackie Rowe and Shelbie Nolte each added 2 points.
The Lady Raiders improve to 10-7 overall and remain at 3-2 in the Tri-County Conference.
