The Macon Varsity Softball Team has been nominated for Academic All-State. To be eligible the team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 for all varsity lettermen. The Tigerettes have an outstanding GPA of 3.74 for the fall semester 2009. Individual team members will be awarded 1st team and 2nd team honors based on GPA's of 3.88-4.0 and 3.75-3.87 respectively. First team nominees include Shelby Arnold, Shellie Brashears, Jamie Roth, Megan Sullivan and Brooke Warren. Second team nominees include Valerie Schmidt and Emily Rudkin.
