Both teams would be paired against the Cougars of Highland, with a shot at the title game on the line.
The Tigerettes would play a close first period, which ended with Macon ahead 10-8.
The Tigerettes would get some seperation in the second period, outscoring Highland 7-2 to take a 17-10 halftime lead.
The Lady Cougars would keep with Macon in the third period, as they outscored Macon 10-9 to get within 26-20.
An even quarter of scoring, 8-8, would help Macon secure a 34-28 win.
Katie Clapp led the Tigerettes with nine points. Shelby Schaefer followed with seven points.
Sherry Hodge scored six points. Lauren Arnold and Allison Chambers each scored five points.
