The Macon County R-IV Raider baskteball teams traveled to Mendon Thursday night for a doubleheader with the Northwestern Eagles.
The girl’s teams played first, and the Lady Raiders continue to look good as they took down the Lady Eagles 41-34.
Hanna Souther led the Lady Raiders in scoring with 14 points. No further info was available at press time.
The Lady Raiders improve to 11-8 overall and remain at 3-3 in the TCC.
The Raider men played a low-scoring affair with the Eagles, but Northwestern still took a 43-37 win.
Wade Burstert led the Raiders with 23 points and 15 rebounds. Aaron Maddox scored 6 points.
Ethan Thompson tallied 5 points, and Grant Gall added 3 points.
The Raider men fall to 1-16 on the season and remain at 1-5 in the TCC.
MCR-IV was scheduled to play Brashear tonight.
