The Bevier Lady Cats took on the Moberly JV Lady Spartans Friday night in the 5th place game of the Novinger Tournament and claimed 5th place with a 47-40 victory over Moberly.
Valle Wilson led the Lady Cats with 14 points, five rebounds and five steals. Tayler Hedworth scored a double-double, with 11 points, 10 rebounds and a steal.
Dominica Prokup scored 10 points, five rebounds, five assists and a steal. Cheyenne Shelmadine scored six points, six rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Beth Ashenfelter scored four points, a rebound, assist and a steal. Alex Fesler added two points, a rebound and an assist.
The Lady Cats improve to 2-1 on the season and will play in a doubleheader tonight at home against the rival La Plata Bulldogs.
