Keytesville takes down Bevier

The Bevier Wildcat basketball teams traveled to Keytesville Monday night for a pair of games against the Tigers.
The Lady Cats battled hard, but the Lady Tigers would prove too much as Keytesville held on for a 51-47 win.
Valle Wilson led the Lady Cats with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals.
Dominica Prokup scored 10 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Samantha Templeton scored 8 points, 2 rebounds, an assist and 3 steals.
Christina Templeton tallied 4 points, 4 rebounds and a steal. Tayler Hedworth added 2 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and had a steal.
Courtney Mattingley also grabbed 5 rebounds.
The Bevier Lady Cats fall to 3-14 on the season.
The Wildcat men looked to get back on the winning track against Keytesville, but the Tigers would have none of it, as they rolled to a 67-34 victory.
For Bevier, Dalton Livingston scored 8 points. Jesse Shelmadine, in a limited role, scored 8 points.
McKenzie Pipes scored 6 points. Weston Ratliff cashed in 5 points, and also stole the ball twice.
Wade Teter scored 4 points. Patrick Peukert tallied 2 points, and Logan Yount added 1 point.
The Bevier Wildcats fall to 9-8 overall.
Bevier will ba back in action Thursday night with the doubleheader at home against the Mustangs of Linn County.
