Macon students participate in annual regional math contest

WHITETAIL BANQUET - The Whitetails Unlimited Long Branch Chapter held their 6th annual banquet Saturday night at the Macon County Expo Center. According to Daniel Waller, committee member, approximately $400 tickets were sold. The group was entertained with raffles, auctions, door prizes and a prime rib dinner. For the past five years the chapter has raised over $30,000 for local donations. Waller said this year’s total has not been totaled. Pictured in number 1, Becca White, was presented with a $500 scholarship from the chapter, She is in the picture with Daniel Waller. Pictured number 2, Austin Rash and Shelby Dunseith, members of the Macon Easy Riders 4-H Chapter shooting sports team. The local Whitetails chapter donated $500 to the 4-H Easyriders shooting sports chapter. Pictured number 3. Becca White, president of Macon FFA, Ethan Pettig, Austin Wells and Hayden Carter were presented a check for $500 by the Whitetails Unlimited Macon Chapter. The students are members of the Macon FFA trap shooting team.
