Norma G. Orman, 74, of Macon, Mo., formerly of Keosauqua and rural Floris, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at Samaritan Memorial Hospital in Macon.

Born June 8, 1936, in Fairfield, she was the daughter of Lonnie J. and Gladys Adler Stone. On Aug. 7, 1954, she married Bernard A. Orman near Floris. He died July 10, 2001.

Mrs. Orman lived most of her life in Davis County, moved to Keosauqua in 2001 and to Macon in 2005. She graduated from Troy High School. She was a member of Bethel Worship Center in rural Douds.

Survivors include one son, Bernard Orman Jr. of Macon; two grandchildren; one sister, Betty Steele of Douds; nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday.

The funeral for Mrs. Orman will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Leando Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Bethel Worship Center.
