Shirley Stuart, 85, of Bevier, MO, passed away, Sunday, August 29, 2010, at the Samaritan Memorial Hospital in Macon, MO.
Shirley was born July 8, 1925, in rural Bevier, the daughter of Farley and Elna (Rivers) Morrow of Bevier. She was united in marriage to Richard Stuart in Bevier. Shirley loved her family and was a great mother, grandmother and aunt. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bevier.
Shirley is survived by her son, Derry Jones and wife, Pamela of Franklin, TN, one granddaughter, Katherine Morrow DePalma and husband, Nick of Boston, MA, one beloved brother-in-law of 65 years, Clyde Northcott of Bevier, one niece, LuAnn Coons of Dearborn, MO, one nephew, Mark Northcott of Troy, MO, and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Farley Morrow, and one sister, Norma Jean Northcott.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, September 2, 2010, at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Bevier. Burial will be in the new addition of Oakwood Cemetery in Bevier. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, September 1, 2010, from 4-6 pm, at the funeral home in Bevier. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Bevier.
