Raymond “Ray” Walls, 85, of Moberly, died Monday evening, January 16, 2012, at his home after a brief illness.
Ray was born October 31, 1926, in Callao, MO, a son of Thomas J. and Goldie B. (Vestal) Walls.
He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II and received an honorable discharge.
He married Josephine Varns on March 20, 1947, in Troy, KS, and she preceded him in death. He then married Wilma Yeager in May of 1996, in Sioux Falls, SD, and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a stepdaughter, Sheila Yeager.
Survivors include a daughter, Raylene Graves of Moberly; a son, Gary Walls of Hammond, LA; stepson, Rodney Yeager of Aurora, MO; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at Locust Grove Cemetery in Callao. Arrangements by CATER Funeral Home.
