Erma J. Berti, age 94, of Bevier, MO, passed away, Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, MO.
She was born on December 29, 1915, in Bevier, MO, the daughter of Silvio and Gesualda (Fiorenzi) Fraulini. She was united in marriage to Albert Berti on January 6, 1940, at the Sacred Heart Church in Bevier. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1976.
Erma was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and also the Sacred Heart Altar Society. She loved spending time with her family and was an avid bowler.
She is survived by one son, Robert Berti and wife Gerry of Bevier; one daughter, Lynette Berti of Bevier; three grandchildren, Maria Linder and husband Jeff of Elko, NV, Julie Bonuchi and husband Dennis of Macon, and Jeff Berti and wife Dennie of Trenton, MO, five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Jacob, Joshua, Rylee, and Lilly; one step-great-grandchild, Josie; one sister, Loretta Monterastelli of Venice, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Kenneth Berti, five sisters, Iola Coppi, Frances Brugioni, Ermida Gardella, Angelina Cambio, and Fenezia Fraulini, and two brothers, Felix Fraulini and Egidio Fraulini.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Monday, March 15, 2010, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bevier with Father Mike Murphy and Rev. Mr. Bernie Toll officiating. Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery in Bevier. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm, Sunday evening, at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Bevier, with a prayer service and rosary service at 5:30 pm. The family suggests memorials to the St. Charles Cemetery or the Sacred Heart Altar Society.
