Lynette V. Sutton, 59, of Waco, TX, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012, at her home.
Lynette was born on May 27, 1952, in Portland, OR, the daughter of James E. and Josephine (Wert) Wilson. She was united in marriage to James E. Sutton on March 7, 1969, in Kansas City, MO. Lynette enjoyed homemaking, crafts and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, Josephine Strong of Portland, OR; two children, Carrie Gochenour and husband, Brian of Waco, TX, Russell Sutton and wife, Malinda of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Alethea, Charisma, Alexander, Angelina, Jackson, Matthew and Amelia and two sisters, Ginny and Christy.
Lynette was preceded in death by her father, one brother, David and one half-brother, Brian.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at 1:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery in Macon with Preacher Brian Gochenour officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to the Oakwood Cemetery to be used for the mausoleum renovation. Services were under the direction of Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.
