Tamsy Sneed, 56, of Macon, MO, passed away, Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.
Tamsy was born July 26, 1954, in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Marvin and Carol (Harl) Reed of Winigan, MO. She was united in marriage to Thomas J. Sneed at Crossroads Christian Church in Macon on October 13, 1988. Tamsy graduated from Green City High School, received a Masters of Education from University of Missouri, and she was a dedicated school teacher at Macon R-l School for twenty-two years. She loved fishing at Bennett Springs, reading, basketball, softball, playing cards and trivia board games. Tamsy was a member of Callao Christian Church.
Tamsy is survived by her husband, Tom Sneed of Macon, her parents, Marvin Reed and wife, Carol of Winigan, one step-son, Tommy Sneed and wife, Chris of Moberly, MO, one step-daughter, Kelly Kanatzar and husband, George of Wright, WY, five step-grandchildren, Aaron, Logan, Emily, Chance and Thomas Dale, one brother, Monty Reed and wife, Joyce of Winigan, one sister, Pamela Reed of Perkasie, PA, and one niece, Carla Reed and fiancé, Rustin Snyder.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, August 28, 2010, at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in the Price Cemetery in Winigan. Visitation will be Friday evening, August 27, 2010, from 6-8 pm, at the funeral home in Macon. Memorials to the Price Cemetery.
