Vivian E. Thomas, age 98, of Macon, MO passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 at her home in Macon.
    She was born on September 3, 1911, in Bevier, MO, the daughter of Frank and Tillie (Foos) Evans.  She was united in marriage to Roy B. Thomas on June 18, 1935 in Bosworth, MO.  He preceded her in death on March 2, 1989.
    Vivian was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Bevier, MO, Macon County Health Board from the time it was organized until 2001, the Chapter BN, P.E.O for 75 years and the Bevier Cemetery Committee.  Before her retirement in 1980, she worked as a bookkeeper at the Farmer’s Exchange, Banquet Foods and the Farmer’s Mutual Insurance Company. 
    She is survived by two cousins, and several nieces and nephews.
    Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy B. Thomas, one infant son; Benjamin, and one brother; Aubrey Evans.
    Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 10:30 am, at the Community of Christ Church of Bevier, MO with Elder Rick McVicker and Elder Dan McVicker officiating.  Burial will be at West Oakwood Cemetery in Bevier.  Visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Bevier.  The family suggests memorial contributions  to West Oakwood Cemetery or the Community of Christ Church of Bevier.
