Students attending the Macon Immaculate Conception School participated in Hoops and Jump Rope for Heart on Tuesday afternoon in the school’s playground. The sunny day and knowing each student was helping a good cause made for a fun afternoon. Kim Boedeker, ICS physical education teacher, was pleased that the children were able to participate in the event outdoors in the sunny weather. Participants play for a period of time at a station then must move to the next game after a whistle is sounded. The students raised $705 for the American Heart Association.Pictured are students at a jump rope station.
