Macon R-I fifth grade student Brennen Lyda is pictured donning the costume of K.C. Wolf, mascot for the Kansas City Chiefs at the annual D.A.R.E. Graduation ceremony May 11, in the Macon Middle School Gym. The K.C. Wolf was the guest speaker for the program. Each fifth grade student received a certificate of achievement from their teacher. D.A.R.E. Officer Adam Dawdy announced the essay winners from each fifth grade class. The winners will be featured in a later issue of the Chronicle-Herald.
