BEVIER - The Bevier Homecoming is slated for Aug. 5, 6, 7 and 8 this year.
Wednesday kicks off with an ice cream social. Local talent is scheduled for the evening’s entertainment. The Rikers are to perform at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
On Thursday evening, a Little Mr. and Miss Swimsuit Contest is to be held at 4 p.m. followed by a babyshow for ages 0 to 2 years old. A Little Mr. and Miss Bevier Contest is to be held at 7:30 p.m. More local talent will follow the contest with the 2009 Homecoming Queen Contest being held at 10:30 p.m.
Friday night at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. the Nashville entertainment is “LoCash Cowboys.”
The parade is to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday. MWOTA lawn mower races are to be held at 3 p.m.
Saturday night’s Nashville entertainment is Connie Smith. She is to perform at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The 23rd annual Show-Me Show-Down Truck and Tractor Pull starts Friday, July 31 at 7 p.m. The event is to take place at the Macon County Fairgrounds, south of Macon on Highway 63. Friday’s pulls are to be Mod 4x4 trucks, Unlimited SS, 10,000 Pro Stock, and 2-Wheel Drive Trucks.
On Saturday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. performing will be Mod 4x4 Truck, Unlimited SS, 10,000 Pro Stock, 2 Wheel Drive Truck, and Light Super Stock.
