The cold winter and the heavy snow that blanketed an ice covered pond was the cause of a large fish kill. Jack Davison, owner of the pond north of Macon, said he discovered the dead fish three days ago. He removed the 200 plus channel cat from the pond on Thursday. Davison said he stocks the pond every summer. “I feed the fish, and the neigbors fish at the pond.” He said he lost some fish from the approximately 12 foot pond around 15 or 16 years ago the same way.
