  • The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an accident in Randolph County involving an individual from Bevier on Friday, November 22.
    Robert Long, 43, of Bevier was driving a Sterling Dump Truck when he crossed the center line of Main Street in Huntsville, striking another vehicle nearly head on.
    Dana Hayes, 53, of Moberly was the driver of the second vehicle. She was wearing her safety device and had minor injuries. She was transported by private auto to Moberly Regional Medical Center. Her vehicle also had two other occupants—Angela Hayes, 34, and Brian Downing, 55, both of Moberly.
    Hayes was not wearing her seat belt and suffered serious injuries. She was transported by Staff for Life to University Hospital in Columbia. Downing was wearing his seat belt and suffers minor injuries. He was transported by Randolph County Ambulance to Moberly Medical Center.
    The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by Huntsville Police Department and Randolph County Sheriff's Department.
