  • Waldon Teeter, 84, of Ethel, MO, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, MO.
    Waldon was born on November 13, 1928, in Bucklin, MO, the son of Fred Newton and Vern Pauline (Schreckhise) Teeter.  He was united in marriage to Betty Teeter in Brookfield, MO.  Waldon was a member of Bucklin Christian Church in Bucklin, the Local Pipe Liners Union # 798 for 63 years, past member of the Masonic Lodge.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and traveled to 48 states during his career on the pipeline.
    He is survived by three daughters, Dianna Burger and husband Robert of Durant, IA, Lana Edens and husband Leroy of Marceline, MO, Frances Bailey and husband Stan of Macon, MO; 11 grandchildren, Chad Snyder, Todd Snyder, Mark Snyder, Julie Dorrell, Jeremey Bailey, Natalie Chamberlin, Jodi Bonderer, Raquel Evans, Shanna Baker, Brandi VanDelft, Joshua Bailey, and 19 great grandchildren.
    Waldon was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, one sister Wanda Teeter, and one brother Davie Teeter.
    Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 12 noon, at the Bucklin Christian Church in Bucklin, MO.  Burial will be in the Bucklin Masonic Cemetery in Bucklin.  Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10 am until the time of the services.  Memorial can be made to the Bucklin Christian Church.
