Name: Curt Glover
Family: Brandi Glover, wife; Ethan Glover, son; Auburn Glover, daughter.
Previous experience: I spent seven years with the Missouri State Water Patrol and two years and 10 months with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Interests and hobbies: Carpentry work; turkey, duck and bow hunting; fishing. I really enjoy Sunday dinners and family gatherings.
Why did you decide to become a police officer?
Because I wanted to serve my community and this state by helping to provide a safe and secure environment. Also to have a meaningful career so that I could provide for my family.
Who inspired you and why?
My father, Jim Glover, worked his entire career in law enforcement and loved it. I am my father's son, so if he found purpose and enjoyment serving as a law enforcement officer, it is logical I would find the same rewards.
What are the greatest challenges in law enforcement today?
Keeping up with every evolving technology and criminal trends with limited resources.
What advice would you give someone who wants to go into law enforcement?
Be in good mental and physical condition. Be willing to work night and weekends. Most importantly, use good judgement in every aspect of your life.
