Katherine Stuck of Macon Health Care Center in Macon was crowned Ms. Missouri Nursing Home Pageant Queen 2013 for the state of Missouri. The first pageant took place in April at the Father Buhman Center in Shelbina where Kathy won First Runner up.
She then went on to participate at state level in Branson, MO on August 26, at the Hilton Hotel. The contestants were treated like royalty. They had rooms at the Hilton Hotel to stay in over the weekend, music shows in Branson and dinners for the ladies. It was a wonderful time for the families and the contestants.
"After a tough deliberation our very own Katherine Stuck was crowned Ms. Missouri Nursing Home Queen 2013," said MHCC Administrator Rachel Richardson. "The staff and residents of Macon Health Care Center are so proud of Kathy for representing our facility and letting others know that you can still have fun at any age."
Katherine has been a resident of the Macon community most of her adult life. She has three children: Tammy Richardson of Macon, Brad Stuck of Bevier and her late son Brian Stuck of Macon. She also has four grandchildren: Lynette Amos, Tim Richardson, Robert Stuck and Valerie Stuck.
