  • As reported in the Macon Chronicle-Herald on Tuesday, July 22, the Macon Police Department has been conducting an investigation regarding several thefts of copper and scrap metal from the Municipal Utilities owned storage shed on Malone Street.
    On Tuesday evening, the police department served an active warrant on Brett D. Llewellyn, 17, of Macon for attempted burglary. Llewellyn was processed and released pending a Division II Court date.
    According the Macon Police Chief Steve Olinger, three arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
