Miss Lola Ralston who has been a Macon County Welfare Office Worker since August of 1940 is retiring. She will be replaced by Mrs. Ronald Lenzini.
A Tom Thumb Wedding production was put on at the Bevier Baptist Church to help with finances for the Bevier Centennial Celebration. Among those in the cast were: Rose Mary Jones, bride; Ward C. Bailey, groom; Freddy Contratto, Jerry Chiarottino, Bradley Bailey, Chet Boze, Kathy Martie, Beverly Prewitt, Betty McLin and Marilyn Lobmire.
