  • The following Macon Moment in History was taken from the June 13,1998 edition of the Macon Chronicle-Herald.
    A surprise twister caused damage to the front door of the Atlanta C-3 School and turned over a vehicle owned by Jeff and Michelle Lush. A 2x4 was driven into a shed owned by Deloma Nuhn.
    Nashville recording artist Gary Allen and The Ranch were the featured entertainment at the Clarence Homecoming. The Ranch featured guitarist Keith Urban and Petter Clark, both natives of Australia.
    The Friday night Sea and Sirloin at the Pear Tree in Bevier was offered for $14.95.
