    The long awaited boat ramps being constructed at Long Branch Lake are facing another delay.
    The Macon School Board accepted a bid of $45,000 for sale of the building trades house from Mr. & Mrs. Granvil Morrow. Superintendent Kelly Rogers announced that the next year’s house will be only two bedrooms instead of three due to higher costs.
    Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Tate were honored with a surprise 25th wedding anniversary celebration given by family and friends at Thomas Hill.
    Macon-Atlanta State Bank offered 30-month certificates of deposit for 9.25%. A 6-month CD was 7.75%.
