  • Bobby F. Waller, 83, of Macon, MO, formerly of Excello, MO, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at his home in Macon.
        Bobby was born on September 21, 1929, in Excello, the son of Francis “Lee” and Calla “Agnes” (Cheever) Waller.  He graduated from Macon High School in 1948 and then served his country in the United States Army in the 7th Infantry during the Korean Conflict.  Bobby was united in marriage to Letha May Stoebe on December 4, 1965, in Moberly, MO.  He operated Waller Service in Excello, after that, he operated Waller Shell Station in Macon before he went to work for R.E.C.  After that, he worked for Peabody Coal, and finally, he worked for R.E.C. again, before retiring on December 24, 1991.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 29 and enjoyed playing music, motorcycles, and antique iron.  Bobby was known that he could “back up a log chain”.
        Bobby is survived by his wife, Letha of Macon, one son, B.K. Waller and his wife Donna of Brooklyn, IA, three granddaughters, Jesse, Kelse, and Casey, and one brother, Alvin Waller and his wife Nina, of Excello.
        He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and an infant sister.
        Graveside memorial services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the Mt. Salem Cemetery south of Excello.  The family suggests memorials to the Macon County Ministries Energy Assistance Program.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.
