    New Cambria Superintendent Paul Wickless was honored for serving 29 years at New Cambria High School, 28 as superintendent.
    Piano students of  Mrs. Johanna Kronberg who received awards included: Betty Thomas, Dana Badgerow, Adella Lolli, and Alice Linn.
    Ladies jacket dresses were advertised by J.C. Penney’s for $10.90. Ladies shoes were $2.98-$3.98.
    Volunteer workers of the Women’s Axillary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars were to sell Buddy Poppies. Mrs. James Dixon was president.
