C.L. and J.T. Waller of Waller Tractor Sales held a “Power Pow-Wow” featuring a display of Ford tractors at their new quarters at 114 Butler.
Officers elected to lead the Macon High School FFA Chapter for the next school year were: President Raymond Stroppel, Vice-President Cambre Claypoole, Secretary Glenn Mitts, Treasurer Larry Shannon, Reporter Larry Porter, Sentinel Carl Howell, Parliamentarian Herman Smith. Their advisor is Ward Harrington.
Weekend specials at Cleaver Brothers Grocery included: lemons, 29 cents a dozen; 1 lb. pounds of carrots, 2 for 15 cents and roasting ears, 3 for 19 cents.
