    Gloria DeBoer, 67 of Macon died at home surrounded by her loving family, April 16th 2013 at 5:50 pm.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday April 20th at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church in Macon with visitation at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Garden.
    Gloria was born October 18th, 1945 in Hull, IA. The daughter of William & Grace Evers VanSurksum. On Dec. 3rd, 1963 Gloria married Kenneth DeBoer of Carmel, IA.
    Gloria is survived by her husband Ken. One son Harlan DeBoer & wife Mary of Saratoga, WY. Two daughters, Michele DeBoer and special friend George Ivey of Swainsboro, GA, and Brenda Tuttle & her husband Jym of Macon, MO. Her Stepmother Johanna VanSurksum. Four Granddaughters, Stephanie Espino of Quincy, IL, Sarah Espino of Macon, MO, Stacie DeBoer of Portland, OR and Kaitlynn Snell of Saratoga, WY. Two Grandsons, Tanner Snell of Saratoga, WY Jacob Snell of Saratoga, WY. Three sisters, Judy Miller of Olathe, KS, Deborah Nickles of Strophe, MI, and Alehta Snider of Hull, IA. One brother, William VanSurksum Jr. of Sheldon, IA.
    Gloria was preceded in death by her parents.
    Gloria is a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Macon. She retired after working 30 years, from Loch Haven Apartments
