At approximately 4:41 p.m. Wednesday the Macon Police Department responded to an accident on U.S. 63 in front of Lolli Sale Barn.
Natalie K. Jemes, 48, of Macon was traveling southbound on U.S. 63 when Judy M. Rohner, 72, of Centralia, Ill. pulled into her path. Jemes then hit Rohner with her 2005 Chevy Suburban.
Jemes was wearing her seatbelt and suffered minor injuries. She was transported by ambulance to Samaritan Hospital. Rohner, who was also wearing her safety device, is seeking her own medical treatment.
Both vehicles acquired extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
The Macon Police Department was assisted by Macon County Ambulance, Macon City Fire, Macon County Rescue and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Responders left the scene at approximately 5:17 p.m.
