Saturday evening approximately 120 individuals gathered at the Comfort Inn for the fifth annual Lincoln Days.
"Macon County Lincoln Day has grown to be one of the largest and most successful Lincoln days in rural north Missouri," said Chairman of the Macon County Republican Central Committee Rick Shoemaker.
The keynote speaker U.S. Senator for Missouri Roy Blunt spoke about various topics including the second amendment, Medicaid expansion, energy independence and much more. Additionally, State Representative Tim Remole and guest speaker Rick Perry presented, guests enjoyed a prime rib dinner catered by Nolands and there was a live auction.
