On Sunday, March 31, 2013, Moberly Police were called to Wal-Mart in reference to a shoplifting. Two subjects, a white male and a black male were seen stealing items from the store. The subjects got into a vehicle, that had been reported stolen from Macon, Mo. The vehicle was seen leaving Wal-Mart with the suspects was located at Jefferson and Morley and turned over to Macon Police Department.
Shortly after the vehicle was found, Randolph County Sheriff's Department was called to the scene of a fire in which a vehicle had been set on fire. Five minutes later, Randolph Co got a call of a vehicle accident on County Road 2515. Ten minutes later, Randolph Co was called to Rt D in regards to two subjects being shot. Both subjects were transported to the hospital for treatment. The condition of these two subjects is unknown at this time.
A truck owned by one of the victims of the shooting was stolen and later wrecked. Randolph Co was later called to a residence on Rt BB in which a woman was assaulted and her vehicle stolen. The vehicle is a white, Saturn Vue, with license FA6T3E.
Around 9 p.m., Randolph County Sheriff's Department was called to a residence in Higbee in which several guns were stolen.
Around midnight, Moberly Police attempted contact with the owner of the vehicle which had been burned in the county and found the 92 year old victim deceased. At this time, the death is being investigated as suspicious and no further details are available at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
Anyone seeing or knowing who the two subjects in the surveillance video are, is asked to contact their local law enforcement to report the location of these two subjects. Law Enforcement cautions people not to approach the two subjects as they are considered armed and dangerous. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the identification of the two in the photograph and their location. Law Enforcement is still looking for the white Saturn Vue, with Missouri license FA6T3E and anyone seeing the vehicle, to contact their local law enforcement.
As the investigation progresses, further information will be released at a later time.
