    The annual celebration of the March Hares was held with Mrs. William Hill and Mrs. Charles Pontius as hostesses. The article stated that the group of women with birthdays in March had its beginning in 1918.
    Donald and Mary Lea were to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their daughter and family Donna and Dennis Stoecklein and Kerri. The couple were married April 6. 1947.
    A bicycle owned by Chad Primm was reported stolen from the bicycle rack at the Immaculate Conception School.
    A 3-bedroom, 3-bath, 2 car garage home on Hawthorn Drive was offered for sale by Macon Realty for $59,000.
