The snow is gone and temperatures have been moderate to cool this past week. I must report that I have jonquils and surprise lilies peaking through the ground by 1-2 inches. Easter is approaching.

Richard and Sharron Burns attended the Frank Graham 4-H Leadership Award Banquet held in Columbia, on Friday, March 15. Sharron was awarded a pin for her 15 years of 4-H Leadership of the Oklahoma Indians 4-H club.
Amy Burns graduated from the Columbia Public Schools program of practical nursin on March 7. She is a 2003 graduate of La Plata High School, and has been working within the University of Missouri healthcare system for th past four years. She will be transitioning to the role of licensed practical nurse at the University Physicians outpatient Neurology clinic. Amy is the daughter of Richard and Sharron Burns of rural La Plata.
