Congratulations to Joe and Dana Weber on the birth of their daughter, Jozee Rae Weber on Feb. 27.  She weighed in at 7 pounds and 9 ounces.
Elmer Baptist Church didn’t have any service last Sunday due to the massive snow in the parking lot and up against the front door.  It is better now but not great.  Hopefully by March 17 it will be much better.  Pastor Zach will be back from his trip to India and he plans to show slides from his trip at 11 a.m.  At Noon there will be a carry-in meal and a mission study to follow.
    BENEFIT FOR CINDY KOONCE
The Elmer Community will be holding a benefit for Cindy Koonce on Saturday, March 23, at the Elmer Community Building.  Cindy has been recently diagnosed with uterine cancer.  The fish fry with all the trimmings will begin at 5 p.m.  Price of the meal is by donation to help Cindy with expenses of the upcoming surgery and treatment.  If you can’t make it and would like to help Cindy out or send a word of encouragement, her address is:  Cindy Koonce; 21905 St. Hwy J; Elmer, MO  63538.
Mike, Melanie, Mady and Maddox Tipton of Trenton spent Friday night and Saturday, March 1 and 2, with Roger, Betty and Matt Tipton of Macon.  They helped Betty celebrate her birthday on Saturday and Roger’s on March 5.
    EASTER SERVICES AT ELMER BAPTIST
Elmer Baptist Church will hold sunrise services on March 31 at 6 a.m.; Sunday school at 7 a.m. and breakfast cooked by the men at 8 a.m.
