  • The Macon Jaycees held a board meeting on Jan. 30. The meeting was called to order by President Lorie Thompson. Kristy Lea led the Pledge of Allegiance.
    Anyone not wearing a Jaycees name badge at meetings or project is asked to donate $1. Money collected through this fundraiser is collected and will be donated to Wonderland Camp. If you need a name badge let Jerry Thompson know. Everyone had their name tag.
    There were no guests.        
    Review of agenda:     Approved (motion –Dede Spidle/2nd – Kristy Lea)
    Kristy Lea gave the     secretary’s report.
    There was no copy of the minutes from the board meeting held on Jan. 2.
    Dede Spidle gave the treasurer’s report.
    Officer reports were     given by Membership Vice-President; Dede     Spidle, no discussion; and Community Vice-President Laura McCully, discussion about the Father/Daughter Dance;  Management Vice-President: Kyla Wilcox, discussed all aspects including prices of pictures for the Father/Daughter Dance.
    No old or new business was discussed.
    Coming Events (not listed above):
    A dinner meeting will be held on March 13. The Jaycees will be having Mexican.
    A membership meeting will be held on March 27.
    Good of the Order:
    Crossroad Christian Church has the “Agape Cafe” open at the Legion Hall on the 1st and 3rd     Saturday of each month.
    Members of the Board of Directors: Chris Knapp, Jessy Coulson and Jim Wilcox.
