The Tri-County Christian School held its 12th annual pancake breakfast at the Crossroads Christian Church on February 9. And according to Tri-County Christian School Secretary Gina Clapp, they had a really good turnout.
"It was better than the last two years," said Clapp. "It helped that we had it at the church because there was more space and time to visit with other people."
The funds raised from the breakfast go toward technology, teacher training, curriculum and the general needs of the Tri-County Christian School.
According to Clapp, the Parent Teacher Fellowship group (PTF) served 438 people at the event raising a little more than $3,000.
Students had a competition before the breakfast to see who could sell the most tickets. The top three sellers were rewarded a prize. Clay Bartholonew, pre K, Gabe Thrasher, 4th grade, and Shane Levett, 7th grade, were the top sellers. A total of 317 tickets were sold prior to the event.
