  • On Sunday at approximately 7:40 a.m., a victim reported a vehicle stolen from the 900 block of West Goggin Street. A Macon Police Officer responded, determining that a 2000 Ford Focus had been taken the night before. At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, the vehicle was located abandoned by Shelbina Police. The vehicle was recovered in good condition and returned to owner after being processed for evidence. This case remains under investigation.
    On Monday at approximately 4:45 p.m., a victim reported a storage-unit break in with missing items. Upon arrival, Macon PD was informed of the numerous items missing. The items are valued at more than $7,000. This case remains under investigation.
    On Tuesday evening Macon PD was notified of a suspect stalking a juvenile. The family of the juvenile reported to police several recent incidents. During the investigation, police determined the suspect to be a registered sex offender. The suspect, a 45- year old male of Macon, was locked and taken into custody in the 500 block of Roe Lane at approximately 9:49 p.m. The suspect was placed on 24-hour hold on the charge of aggravated stalking. The suspect remains in custody at the Macon County Jail pending formal charges.
