What an article! First, I didnít realize it was your 25th anniversary Ė I hadnít realized you were that old! So, congratulations, I am very proud of you. The article was wonderful and I found out some things I didnít know about you. That was fun. Also, I enjoyed reading the positives about your job. You seemed very content and happy with who you are and what you do. I especially liked your comment about giving a homily. That would explain why your homilies are so wonderful. I havenít heard a good homily for quite some time. It is definitely not one of Father Mikeís good qualities. You have said on several occasions, that you enjoy going to the prison, however we had not gone into why. I guess what I am trying to say, is that I found out by reading the article, that I am not a very good listener, and we talk way more about me than we do about you. SORRY! - And maybe that is the way you like itÖÖ.
I hope you got some rest. The last time I talked to you seemed extremely tired. So sorry things are hard for you right now. Things will get better with time. They always do.
School is going good for both children. Dominicaís softball team is probably heading for the state finals. Unless something horrible happens, it is a definite possibility. And, school for Antonio has been GREAT! We both love his 8th grade teacher, and for the first time in a long time he has a truly knowledgeable Occupational Therapist, who has helped him immensely. His writing continues to amaze me. He just recently wrote something on my momís illness and it was really wonderful. It is astonishing to me the amount of emotion Antonio has within him and how nobody knows that about him. Maybe someday.
As I have said before, I am glad that you are with your mother right now, but sad because the likely-hood of getting to visit with you is minimal. So, Iíll keep calling and maybe we canít write a few letters now and then.
Once again, congratulations on your anniversary. Did you have any kind of celebration? That kind of commitment is quite impressive Ė you should be proud.
