The beauty of Hannibal’s parks is the focus of an upcoming exhibit and competition, sponsored by Hannibal Arts Council and Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department.
The public is invited to attend the opening reception 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St.
Hannibal Arts Council gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. The HAC gallery is closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.
Prizes totaling $575 will be awarded in Adult and Youth divisions. Pieces may be for sale and will be subject to the HAC commission policy (10 percent will go to HPR).
