  • Joyce Lorene Quido, 73, of Ten Mile, MO, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, at her home.
    Joyce was born on March 13, 1939, in Cheyenne, OK, the daughter of Billy Ray and Nora Wilma (Blurton) Oaks.  Joyce was united in marriage to Chris Quido on September 28, 1957, in New Haven, CT.  She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Redman, MO.  Joyce enjoyed horses, cooking, her church and God, and especially her grandchildren.
    Joyce is survived by her husband Chris Quido, two children, Beth Robidoux and her husband Phillip of Atlanta, MO, Chris Quido Jr. and his wife Kristen of Excello, MO, six grandchildren, Michael Robidoux, Lisa Bundy, Kyle Quido, Brandon Quido, Alex Quido, and Patrick Guilmette, three great-grandchildren, Tori Robidoux, Nora Bundy, and Luke Bundy, one brother, Ray Oaks and his wife Ermie of Monroe City, MO, one sister, Mary Ellen Reed and her husband A.D. of Ackerly, TX, and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Mark Christopher, one daughter, Debora Guilmette, and one brother, Jimmy Oaks.
    Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Redman, with Bro. Jim Bolin officiating.  Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Tuesday evening at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.  The family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund.
